The notorious hall of fame
famed for its 50 pluses
brings out the child in you;
increases the spasms

you wonder if you would get there
you wonder if you're lost
no matter how good you are
you would always miss a plus.

the famous hall of fame
gathers everyone around you
brings the joy in front of you
whenever your work is reshared
you can't find anyone to blame

just praying to get there
you become obsessed
how was one
with words so few
able to make it there.

oh the good old hall of fame
flames the quest
for the eternal best
to hang in there
just like the Mona Lisa
in the Louvre,
forever.
