Upon Reading A Difficult Poem
Upon Reading A Difficult Poem

I reread it a couple of times
It loomed the strings of my head
And on occasion the triplet charm
Consolidated the firearm
I reread it a couple of times
It tied my hands to my pocket
In trusses and one locket
Trying to understand what it displayed
With single rhyme.
with single rhyme
with single rhyme
whoa got it better
after the first time
poetic sparse mess
filled thin air
on agitated
rambunctious
I reread it a couple of times
it unavailed the dungeons
it let loose the dragon within
it showed me how to harness.
and on occasions
you reread it like me
to no one shall you ever say
I reread it without dismay.
