A fortune teller once said:
there's an extra loaf within every bread
there's a strong sense of fullness within every cadence

strange autumn with spring leaves
nurtures a winter within summer skies

ode on taverns
lights amidst strength and might

an agreement has been signed 
and those who where lost did not have time to sigh

grief-stricken
misery trodden
friendly foes
happily sowed
to agree
was
meant.

Words on people's lips
striking hits
black jack wins
a roulette spins 
dices turn
luck domineering 
strenuously geering
the one with a lucky charm.

luck....
what is luck...
a game?
a gamble? 
a gamer?
a gambler?

all of the above?

whether by chance
or sheer design
it is definitely 
feeling charmed 
blessed 
changed
top of it all
